Slatine (Ciovo)

Slatine, a small village harbour on the northern coast of the island of Ciovo, 7 km southeast of Trogir. Slatine has recently become a small tourist picturesque place with many still unknown values. In Slatine there are many beautiful coves with some of the most beautiful beaches of this area, the most famous beach being Kava beach.
Kava beach is more secluded beach with no homes or buildings in the area. To reach it, you must pass through the village of Slatine and then drive for more 4km to the east, with mostly gravel, and sometimes, very rough road.
The centre of the village (a small fishermen port) is where all important summer happenings take place such as “fisherman's fests". Slatine has all the necessities you might need: a post office, medical clinic, exchange office, 4 restaurants, and 3 supermarkets. The restaurants offer the Dalmatian food of the highest quality, the beach bar Lumbrelin organizes every-day-parties with different performers.

Okrug Gornji (Ciovo)

Okrug Gornji is located on the western part of Čiovo, just 4 km from Trogir, and is one of the more popular tourist destination in the Trogir area. It has a beautiful beach where you can enjoy all sorts of daily and night activities. There are a few beach bars and water sport activities such as water-ski rental, parasailing, and banana rides are offered. The village also has a gym and tennis courts.

Okrug Donji is a small village on the island of Ciovo, 6 km from Trogir. It is known for its numerous bays and beautiful beaches, very popular with children due to their shallow waters. Arbanija (Ciovo)

Arbanija is small tourist destination on the beautiful island of Ciovo, 4 km from Trogir. The island and town are connected to the town of Trogir by a drawbridge.
Beacuse of its vicinity to Trogir, it is popular destination for tourists. Arbanija has a famous monastery from the 15th century which has a unique library. The monastery is surrounded by olive trees, and situated next to the Arbanija peeble beaches. The hotel in the area (Hotel Sveti Križ) offers many activities such as: fitness club, tennis courts, and mini soccer playground.

Island Ciovo

Ciovo is a small island located with area of 28.8 squared km (length 15.3 km, width up to 3.5 km), population of 6,071 inhabitants and its highest peak is 218 m (Rudine). Ciovo is connected with mainland Croatia by a drawbridge in Trogir. Part of Ciovo actually belongs to the town of Trogir. There are five other smaller settlements on Ciovo: Slatine, Arbanija, Zedno, Okrug Gornji, and Okrug Donji. On the western part of the island are sand and pebble beaches, the largest being those in the Saldun bay. Smaller coves include Duga, Tatinja and Movarstica. Along the south-western coast are several smaller islands (Sveta Fumija, Kraljevac, Galerija, etc.); their cliffs provide good opportunities for underwater fishing. On the eastern side of the island are smaller beaches, around Slatine and the Supetar Cove.
The island is covered with pine trees, olives, wine grapes and medicinal herbs. The north part of the island is characterized by many beaches, while the southern side by cliffs and it is not that accessible. Some cliffs are even 150 meters high. There are 6 small beautiful islands on the west side of the island. Among them St. Fumija with tower ruins and Kraljevac with the lighthouse are the biggest.
Due to its location, connected to Trogir, overlooking the Kastela Gulf, and only 2 km from Split by sea, it has become a primary destination for many tourists.
