Pakostane is a small town uniquely  positioned between the sea and the Vrana Lake (Vransko jezero). Its location and natural beauty make Pakostane a great tourist destination. The area is beatified with  old pine trees, various beaches, clean inlets and islands. It is surrounded by the National parks "Kornati","Krka" and "Paklenica". There are a number of tourist settlements and camps. The immediate vicinity of the Zadar and Split airports enables a quick arrival to this area. Good connections with the European road network and regular ferry lines with Italy make Pakoštane an attractive destination.
