Kuciste is a small village, located 6 km west of Orebic, on the southern coast of the Peljesac peninsula. The inhabitants have a long sea-faring tradition, the income from which allowed them to build, for the time, the large, affluent, stone mansions characteristic of the area. The beach is located east of Kuciste, in Zamosce.

Orebic is a town with more than 1500 inhabitants situated on the south side of the Peljesac peninsula, turned towards Korcula. Located at the foot of the Sv. Ilija mountain (961m), this colorful town is the birthplace of naval captains and sailors whose rich tradition is kept in the Orebic naval museum.
