Hotels in Croatia are given star ratings by the Ministry of Tourism in accordance to the standard of the accommodation.

5-star: Most luxurious hotels offering numerious facilities.

4-star: Deluxe hotels offering high level of quality

3-star: Good quality hotels. Majority of hotels in Croatia have this rating.

2-star: Moderate hotels, no A/C.

1-star: Basic esentials, shared bathrooms.
